Is it true the ps3 cant play ps1 n ps2 games?

Hi king of da streets how has your moring been? mine not too bad, no lets answer your question the playstation 3 system can play playstation x and one games on it , because they both have the same sort of system gears and other boring things, so yes it can play the original playstation one games. But as for the playstation 2 no you cannot play the games on the playstation 2, unless you have the special 60 or 80 gig hardrive and i think 20 too, that i think you only got if you predorded it or something, and these its extremely hard to find, but news is out that some chinese shops are selling the fake ones which can still play playstation 2 on them!, but you can never trust i fake , i always say. So i advise that if you do not have a playstation 3 gaming system than you should go out and buy the nintendo wii system that has 6 axis and wireless game play! because everybody knows that the playststion 3's wannabe 6 axis is very poor indead. With the wii its cheap so you can use that extra money on buying more games that you couldnt use on the playstation 3.

i have a 40 g and it cant but im pretty sure everyother one can...also i have a 40 g and it quit reading discs last night and i been reading its a pretty common problem with the 40g so if your plaining on getting one i would steer away from the 40g

what stricker wrote sounds right i have heard that from alot of ppl

the 20 and 60gb and 100% of ps2 games

the 80GB is like 80% ps2 compatible

the 40GB and the new 80GB cumming out in September cant ps2

the ps3 can play ps1 ang 2 games i just played a ps2 game on it last night.
