Is it true the youngest sibling is usually the tallest?

In my family most of the youngest siblings are the tallest.

it might work that way in your family, but not in everyone else's. my boyfriend's got an older brother..and the older brother is taller than him. my ex boyfriend's got a youngest sister, and she's the shortest one. but yes i know a friend who's shorter than her younger sister too. but it doesnt always work like that.

just because its the case for your family doesnt mean its the case for everyones families. youre just generalizing based on your own experience.

hmm...  i think that has more to do with familial traits then general science....im taller than my youngest sister

i think that's coincidence.  my husband's family has four boys,and the youngest is the shortest.  in my dad's family there were 10 kids, youngest is shortest.  same with my moms.  it just happens how it happens.  birth order doesn't have anything to do with it.
