I'm over 95% Italian, and I've always dreamed of going to Italy, especially to get some pizza. But i was telling this to my friend and she said that her cousin went and there was no pizza. Is this true?

  1. I don't know wherer your friend went but there is plenty of pizza in Italy...it's just not the American pizza (ask for pepperoni and they will give you bell peppers). Thank God.

  2. It sorta is and it isn't.

There is not much American Pizza in Italy. Well there is, at Pizza Hut and whatever else has opened up there that is headquarters here.

    Calzones and stuff are plentiful.

Most any pie shop or local restaurant can fashion a pie American Style.

Pizza is an American derivation based on Italian cooking.

Italy is just like any other country, pay the cook enough and you can have baby kittens cooked in a pie, or veal.
