Is it true thet there are people that usually claim that this or that guy is the 'antichrist' ?

is it true or it's a myth? if so, what do you think of these people? don't have anything better to do?

read what the bible says about the antichrist.one thing it is a system of things the spirit of antichrist. second the bible speaks of a man thee antichrist in the last days.he will even deceive the elect(christians) so if some one says this person is the antichrist don't listen. serve the lord .

And here's a thought. If this person is truly to be the total opposite of Jesus, shouldn't this person therefore be female? Maybe it's Hillary. lol

2 John 1:7

Many deceivers who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh have gone out into the world. Any such person is a deceiver and an antichrist.

If a person is preaching other then what is in the word of God , he is an antichrist.

Christ in the spiritual/biblical form would have had to have existed FIRST. We all know that there is NO god therefore no son of god & no christ. Let me do the math:

No God + No Christ aka son of god = No Anti-Christ

Yeah my servant flunked math but you get the point!

I think people that fling title like anti-christ at Obama in the presence of GW Bush's presidency have got their head so far up their a... that they may never witness another ray of sunlight.

If you are not of Christ,then you are anti-christ.There are many anti-christs today but a lot of people mean the motherload of them all which is satan himself.There are people that claim to be satan just as there are some claiming to be Christ.They are foolish.Although when satan comes he will be claiming to be Christ and will fool many christians,that is why they wish for mountains to fall on them.The Elect will not be fooled but all christians are not the Elect.There will be 144000 that God will seal before satan comes and there will be some christians that snap out of that confusion when the Elect witness because it will be the Holy Spirit speaking through them.Also,when the 2 witnesses witness,there will be some that snap out of confusion.One must STUDY to show themselves approved so that they will not be decieved when the fake christ comes!

Barack Obama - He's not another 8 years of Bush

Most people (and most Christians) totally ignore how the Bible actually uses the Greek word antichristos (antichrist).

The word appears five times, not in Revelation, but only in the books of 1st John and 2nd John. Here is a list of all occurrences of the word Antichrist in the Bible: 1 John 2:18-22. 1 John 4:1-3. 2 John 7.

If you read those texts you will see for yourself that the Bible says the following:

1. There are MANY antichrists.

2. Antichrists had already started appearing when the writer was writing the books.

1John.2:18

"Little children, it is the last hour: and as ye heard that antichrist cometh, even now have there arisen many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last hour." [ASV]

3. Antichrists are defined at those who left the original Christian congregation.

1John.2:19

"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us: but [they went out], that they might be made manifest that they all are not of us."

4. Antichrists contradict what the Bible actually says, which is what makes them Antichrists. However, although contradicting scripture, still profess belief in Christ.

1John.2:22

"Who is the liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, [even] he that denieth the Father and the Son."

1John.4:1

"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3. and every spirit that confesseth not Jesus is not of God: and this is the [spirit] of the antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it cometh; and now it is in the world already."

2John 1:07

"For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, [even] they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist."

Antichrist is in the new testament, not in the old! It is formed in a different way in the old! But to say what it means is simple, anti is against/ christ simply means anointed, so it would say, against the anointed, not the anointed by the hands of man, but the anointed by  the living spirit!
