  1. crud no. they go where ever they want. meso-weather has no memory

  2. Tornadoes are not known to take the same exact path as previous tornadoes. Having two tornadoes with the same paths is very rare and purely coincidental. There is no scientific reason that tornadoes would follow the paths of tornadoes before them. The path of a tornado depends solely on the formation of the parent thunderstorm. Thunderstorm development location is nearly impossible to predict. Meteorologists are only able to predict a general area where thunderstorm and/or tornado development is possible. Each storm is unique and makes its' own path. It can be said that the storm does not care where any previous storm went

  3. I do not think that to be true. Otherwise the path of destruction would be much easier to predict.

  4. Well if you mean they strike the same areas, that's possible. There are just certain places that are more prone to them, such as the south and central parts of america. Other than that, I doubt that tornados will go down a certain street just because a tornado went down that path before.

  5. Tornadoes require not only the right weather conditions but also guided by terrain.Preferably flat terrain. The terrain develops wind sheer which spawns tornadoes If the terrain is good for one it will be good for others.
