Is it true u really dont need a license for a vespa type street legal scooter?

i nread about it and i am thinking of investing i dontt mean like a special license but like a 14 year old could drive on the street

  1. depending on state it could be...

    you could be confusing mopeds with vespa tho.. (as in a bicycle with a motor on it, almost always less then 50cc, and limited to 35mph.... most states don't require a liscense for it...)


  2. Check your states DMV / DDS web site. In GA under 50cc can be considered a moped. Legal with no tag or insurance.

    Here you need a license, a motorcycle license.

    Which you must be at least 16 to get.

  6. Many states do not require SPECIFIC license but they often require AT LEAST a driver's license (to show that you understand the rules of the road).

    That also means that you have to be at a minimum age (15, 15.5, or 16).
