  1. The Queen can't abdicate in favour of Camilla as Camilla is not in the line of succession. It has been announced that Camilla will be known as "PRINCESS Consort" when Charles ascends the throne not "Queen Consort".

  2. The queen would never abdicate the throne in favour of camilla. As comilla is not next in line to the throne.

Charles is next in line to the throne, but that may not make camilla a queen. Maybe only the kings consort.

  3. wtf? I hope not.

  4. Camilla could never be a queen of Britain. She is just a wife of a crown prince, same as Phillipe is a ,,just,, a husband of a Elisabeth II. He is NOT next in the line, Prince Charles is.If, for some reason Elisabeth Abdicates and Charles also, then William would be a next king of Britain

  5. No. The Queen takes her royal duties very seriously;her oath was to reign until the day she dies. And she won't be dying soon(and I wouldn't be surprised if she lives a long time, just out of spite as payback for all the trouble Camilla caused!).

  6. Here we go again, Little Lemur spreading rumours, just ignore this little mind.

  7. No, you were having a nightmare about life in a parallel universe

  8. I don't know what you were on while you wre watching the news today, but ....DUH....the Queen will never abdicate and double DUH she can't abdicate in favour of Camilla.

  9. So that means the laws on "anti- cigarettes" and "anti-booze" will be repealed - not a moment too soon

  10. Camilla.....???

I heard it was Thatcher .The milk snatcher

    She likes the royal wee

  11. You do not cite any source for your news item.  If you have one, please do.

First of all, the Queen would never abdicate.  She is seriously committed to the vow of lifetime service that she made in 1947, on the occasion of her 21st birthday celebration, held in Capetown, South Africa, when she was still princess.

Secondly, if the Queen were to abdicate, the Crown passes according to well-established principles of British law, and therefore, Charles would become King.

Even that may not be automatic.  When her uncle, King Edward VIII, later the Duke of Windsor, abdicated in 1936 to marry Wallis Simpson, there was a special Act of Parliament, declaring that the abdication was equivalent to a demise of the crown, and that his brother (the present queen's father) had become King George VI.

The succession to the British Crown is regulated by law, and does not depend on the whim of the current monarch.

  12. I do not know if this is true, but it's certainly interesting.  Please tell us what news broadcast you were watching.  Was it Fox?

    best of luck to you!

  13. No,the oath of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is that she would reign to the last day of her life and she takes it very seriously.Besides there is system for the British succession to the Throne

Oath:"I declare before you all that my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong."

  14. Tell me its not true! George, the queen ,who plays the piano in the pub, can never be replaced by anyone, let alone Camilla
