I have been very sad and crying because I'm leaving for 1 month to drive a truck with a trainer and I think I'll miss my mom a lot because I love her.

So sometimes I watch my feelings but try not to act on them

  1. Its ok to let your mother know how you feel, shes your  mum and will support  you. She is feeling the same way, there is nothing wrong with this, keep in touch with her, throughtout your training, she will need to know you are safe

Good luck, i wish my son was more like you, and thought of his mum.

  2. It's OK to express your emotions as long as you are doing it at the appropriate time and place.  Your Mother is probably sad too and is going to miss you and your showing your emotions lets her know that you love her and will miss her....but you have to "man up" a bit and get yourself together and get ready for that 1 month of truck driver training and get your mind on the road so that you can come back as a certified truck driver and make Mom proud!!!  You're a good son!!!

    Peace & Love  :)
