You can get free things from the Year of a Million Dreams event. They are giving out free Dream Ears, Dream Lanyards, a stay in the Disney Suite (in the Disneyland park), and much more.

When we went to Disneyland 2 weeks ago, we didn't receive anything from the Dream Squad. We even got buttons from the town hall that said "First Trip", "Family Reunion", "Honorary Citizen", and my daughter got a "Happy Birthday" button... I think that the only free thing that we received was a lanyard from the Disney Travel Company.

i don't think so. i've never stayed at any of the hotels but i know people who have they never mention anything about free.

Disney has been handing out, at random, fast passes and other prizes with this promotion.

When you stay at a WDW resort you do have some perks.
