Is it true you can go to jury duty up to two weeks before or after your date without a official date change?

I have jury duty on the 14th of July. problem is i'm going out of town the week after and i'm worried that i'll get stuck on a trial that goes over 7 days. i've already postponed my date twice and i can't postpone it anymore. so i've heard that you can go do your service up to two weeks before or two weeks after your scheduled date.

I do not think thats true. You might if you did it before your jury date but do not think so after.  If you do miss your date they take action with jail time and fines. I am not sure if you could do it earlier or not.

no its not.  they wont postpone you jail date either.
