Is it true you have to clean your piercing every time it comes in contact with sweat?

So everytime I work out or go for a run I have to clean it again after? I've put off exercising since I've gotten my industrial three weeks ago. Does it matter?

As long as you clean it 2 or 3 times a day, it should be fine I think.

If it's not fully healed I'd say clean it after you work out.  Once it's healed you don't have to clean it all the time.  Though it's still wise to clean any piercing daily or every two-three days.

not if its fully healed you can get it as hot and sweaty as you like

It is wise to clean it after you sweat just to be on the safe side. In reality it takes about 2-3 months to fully heal.
