  1. actually it's very common that the females die after giving birth

    since it's very stressful on them

    can be prevented by having the correct parameters and a stress free environment

  3. Not normal, but giving birth seems very stressfull for the fish, so if it's not in perfect health then it's more likely to die after giving birth than any other time.
