it might be abnormal - but not that bad an obsession. I read about someone who obsessively likes to sniff other peoples spagetti.

i do that, but i shove them in my mouth and eat them

I think that it is unnormal to ubsesively sniff donuts but if you just want to take a quick whif it would be okay.
