They can do whatever they want...it's their website.  If you don't like the way they operate, then don't use it.  Seems pretty simple to me.

You probably got reported by another member for whatever reason. I, personally, don't go to posted links due to virus situations. Depending on why you posted the link, it may have been perceived as Chat which violates the Community Guidelines.
