Question:

Is it unethical to feed a live hamster to a snake?

I fed my hamster to my snake and asked a question about it on here and everyone freaked out and called me all sorts of names and wished death upon me. I usually feed my snake live mice. What makes a hamster's life more valuable than that of a mouse? Both are living rodents, right? I don’t understand the difference. i watched snakes on youtube eating deer and all sorts of animals in the wild. I refuse to feed my snake frozen rats. I enjoy watching its natural predatory instincts in action. I think that anyone who eats meat and complains about what I did is a huge hypocrite. (If you think the meat you eat is killed "humanely" go to youtube and type in "slaughterhouse".)

Send in your thoughts folks

  1. To the person who called hamsters "carnivores in the wild" and thought we could train snakes to be vegans...I hope you are kidding. If not, you are a f*****g moron.

I don't see anything wrong with feeding hamsters to snakes. Mice are more intelligent, less likely to bite and make better pets than hamsters. Do people take that into account? No. Ask any pet store worker their least favorite animal (okay, after the scorpions and tarantulas), you'll hear a resounding "hamsters". I've worked in several pet stores. The little s***s are evil. I have scars from hamsters. From mice? I feel guilty every time I have to stuff their little fuzzy butt in a box. (Moreso with rats because I have pet rats.)

Hamsters are evil. People who say they aren't are stupid and have never owned one. They're the little idiots that plaster themselves to the window in the pet store and whine to pet a hamster. Generally they're surprised when it bites them or the pet store employee refuses. As far as I'm concerned, they're a better resource. Shorter gestation, more babies. And no regrets.

Still you should kill it before hand. Don't want your precious herp getting hurt. :)
