I'm on my fifth pregnancy and am considering not to work again for a few years. Is this inconsiderate to my husband as he would have to work 2 jobs to make ends meet.

  1. No, it is not unfair. as long as you agree this with your husband. You save on day care, it is also advantage for your child(ren) because they will have mom all the time. But it may also mean 2 jobs for you spouse. So, you just need to find solution that fits both of you.

  2. Only your husband can be the judge.

  3. It all depends on how much your salary would be and cost of childcare if you worked. With five kids I would think staying home would be easier and cheaper but I don't know your financial situation. Talk to him about it.

  4. I agree with the responders who say it's between  you and your husband. You can listen to the advice but ithey're not the ones who are supporting you during your pregnancy or paying the bills.

  5. Talk to him about it and see what he thinks. He might be able to work two jobs but then again he may think its too tiring. Having a 5th kid will be hard so make sure that you two can think of a fair way to divide the jobs or work a second job. Make sure that your able to work if you want to work. When you get pregnant it the baby usually dosent come for 9 months. Find out where you are in that situation

  6. I think that is between you & him. He may not have to work 2 jobs, if you don't have to pay for daycare for 5 children. That's a thought.

  7. Raising five kids is like having two full time jobs.

  8. I think thats a good idea and being a man I wouldnt say its unfair. And wow Mona your a hot momma! LOL
