Is it unhealthy to open your eyes underwater?

i am just wondering if its unhealthy to open ur eyes under water? and if it is unhealthy what are the side effects?

In pools it can be dangerous because of the chlorine, as well as in lakes (unless they're verrrrrry clean") beacause the do not have "drainage" swimming with eyes open is ok in the sea, the salt water is harmeless, its whta tears are pretty much
