  1. Not unlawful.  You have every right to monitor your property and your kids.


  2. I don't know if it's against the law ,BUT call the police department and ask them to be sure you are not breaking the law.

Unlawful; NO.  Unsafe; possibly.  It would depend on the age of the children that you are allowing outside.  If they are young enough to require adult supervision, then NO you shouldn't monitor them with cameras only.  If they are old enough to be able to call for help if something is wrong, then yes, by all means monitor them from inside the home.  When kids get to that certain age where they want independence to roam and discover and play it's hard to stay outside with them and keep a close eye on them anyway.  Sit them down and discuss with them though, what they should do in certain situations, etc.  Good Luck and I hope your infants health improves.

  5. no - as long as you are not catching any of your neighbours or passersby, you can film your own kids on your own property no problem.
