I want to create an email address to only use for putting on job applications. I was thinking of something like "Morning Star".

  1. I'd avoid it, especially if its odd or cutsey

I go by my middle name so I use it on all my e-mail since that is what people all call me so I'd think that's ok.

Might depend on the kind of "job" you are looking for, some industries (like entertaining) would be OK but typical ones I'd say no

You need to appear professional and businesslike since that is whatthey will be paying you for

  2. That's terrible, you'd get fired here for that kind of immaturity.

  3. NO - use your real name, or part of it with a number...

  4. Use your initials and your zip code.  Its easy for you to remember and its a code, of sorts but looks more professional, IMHO.
