Is it unusual for a guy 50 to have no real male friends? Just female friends/ s*x partners? He’s been married & divorced twice, kids are grown up. He lives in a city far from where he grew up & has a few friends scattered around the country. Is this weird?

  1. Not really. I've seen it over and over. Just seems to be that way later in life.

  2. no, sad but not weird. seems like a lot of men get raped up in their marrages and lose contact with freinds that they had.

  3. Well certainly noone will suspect him of being g*y if he doesn't have any male friends.

Male friendships are good, though with guys who have something in common.    It's not too late to strike up a friendship with someone who shares sports, games, entertainment, or any other interest.

It's not weird, sometimes guys just are interested more in friendships/relationships with women.      I've known a lot of women who don't get along with other women and just have male friends.

  4. no. lots of males have no friends. they just interact with family
