about 4 years ago i broke my wrist and my mom didnt believe me and told me to suck it up. then i told her 4 months after the fact that it still hurt and we went to get an xray. well now every other year for a good 3-4months i have to wear a brace on my wrist because it starts to get really sore and it'll start to hurt when i move it. so i was wondering if this is unusual and if it is is there any way i can fix it?

  1. well it could be that since you didnt get a cast since your mom didn't believe you, it healed and arthritis set in     my grandpa has the same thing, he broke his wrist over 3 years ago and because of arthritis it still hurts every now and then   ask a doctor to see if thats the problem and im sure they can prescribe something

  2. If you break a bone and it doesn't heal properly, there are lots of things that can go wrong. You should go to a bone doctor and explain the situation. They might be able to re-break the bone (surgically, of course) and allow it to set properly.

  3. First of all, I can't believe your mother would say something like that. How awful for you. As for your question, I believe they only way it can be fixed it so have surgery. They would have to rebreak the bone and then reset it properly. Talk to your doctor who can refer you to a surgeon who can answer your questions.

  4. It could be that your muscle becomes irritated from rubbing against your bone because it didn't heal correctly or it could be a psychological manifestation of pain.

It is not arthritis, you are way too young.
