  1. Yess.. Why not.. they are the same as we are! Everyone is the same no matter what!

  2. Yes...it is!

  3. of course it is

ur race shudnt matter sa long as ur willing to taker care of the child show them love and keep them safe

but i feel if u do adopt a child of a diffrent race or from a dif country u have  a duty ot teach the child about there own religon culture adn race

  4. Yes. As long as the child is loved I can't see why not.

  5. Yes - adoption will be a dream come true for a little one alone in the world. Teach him/her to be kind no matter what race

  6. Love doesn't see in colors.

If you truely want a baby, when they put this child in your arms, you will love him/her regardless of race. It won't matter to you if your child is black or asian or hispanic or african... it'll be your child... that's all that really matters.

I have several friends who were brought up by white parents, they're all great people. Haven't a mixed race family didn't adversely affect them at all.

Good luck, and I hope that you find the answer your looking for!

  7. As long as you have a lot of love to give, it's perfectly ok to adopt a child of a different race.  Although, you will have to know what sort of prejudices are around to help your child overcome them. If the child is black, you will need to know that they too need sun cream in the sun, that their skin needs to be creamed, and how to look after their hair.

Hope you don't mind me saying this.  If you do adopt, would you please ensure you know everything there is to know about the parents, because when your child grows up, it's curiosity may get the better of him/her and you would be helping by making that search easier.  The sites I've seen where children and biological parents are searching for each other is very sad.

  8. I believe so. We are all human, race doesn't matter.

  9. of course it is, at the end of the day we are all the same race - humans.

  10. I think it's ok as long as you can teach the child about where they come from regarding their race.

  11. I feel that its OK to adopt a child of any race, as long as love is the motivation for it. Aside from that you owe it to the child to teach them about they're culture. If not, you will have a very confused child to say the least.

  12. yer

  13. IT's always ok to do what is best for you and in your heart!!!

  14. No, if it was ok then nature would have made it so,nothing looks more out of place, and you should consider the thoughts of your own kind, ahhhhhhhh now watch the pathetic thumbs downers, moslty black i bet, told ya ,if you need to adopt is there not enough of your own race to adopt ,instead of trying to get attention by adding a freak, I love children,of my own race, thats the way nature intended and its normal.

  15. uhh.....YEAH? of course you can...?? why not? thats what adoption is about! you can adopt a kid who NOT your biological child. of course a different race is implied!

  16. As long as they are a member of the human race

  17. Why not ask Madonna...the child doesn't even have to be orphaned ffs!!!!!

  18. Knock yourself out!

  19. Yes surely love doesn't know color

  20. you wouldn't be the first one to do it

  21. Of course it is!

I would someday love to adopt a little girl from somewhere.

Go for it, thats the kindest thing you can do hunni.

  22. Absolutely, I am a black woman and I plan on adopting2 Korean children through international adoption.

  23. Don't see why not. It's just outside appearance. We're all people inside.

  24. It's great! There's nothing wrong with adopting a child of a different race. As long as you're giving the child a good, loving, caring home, then their skin color, nor your skin color matters.

  25. It's OK, but it's increasingly difficult to accomplish.

  26. Yes I believe it's ok as long as give them same treatment as you would give if you had your own child.

  27. It's Ok as long as your Ok with it.  Don't do something that your not going to be sure of.

  28. WHAT DO YOU THINK ??

  29. I think it is, but a whole lot of people disagree.

There was a thing on 60 Minutes one time about a whole bunch of black infants that were sent from the US to some Canadian orphanage because there aren't enough Black families looking to adopt, and people didn't think White couples should adopt Black babies.

If I could adopt an infant of any other race tomorrow I would, and I'm pretty confident that I'd know how to raise that child and love him/her enough (and know how to present the matter of color) so that he/she wouldn't have "issues" over being a different race than I am.

My adopted son is a different ethnicity than I am.  It isn't an issue for us.

  30. Yes I think so. My boyfriend is Haitian (very dark skin) and was adopted by white people. He said they got stares in public lol but it didn't bother him. He loves his family very much and they love him also. I don't see anything wrong with it.

  31. Angelina Jolie thinks so.
