  1. yup thats right but don't go to every beach some are n**e.

  2. It will be quite warm by september over there, both for sun-bathing and swimming. The best beaches around Rio are Buzios and Angra dos Reis.

  3. Well i am from Rio and the weather there can get a little temperamental.  September is the beginning of spring. It can get very hot and sometimes cold when the cold fronts come from the south. I have arrived in December and kept wearing my turtleneck that i took from NY in the plane. It was weird. The water if you don't mind swimming when it is cold, should be OK. The bad thing is that sometimes when it rains it can last for a long week..... The northen states are a different story. They are closer to the equator so it can get hot the whole year. And the beaches are super beautiful more than the ones in Rio. Have a great trip!

  4. Ipanema is the best beach in Rio(in my humble opinion) Beautiful beach, great scenery and the people are amazingly s**y. The water won't be especially warm, but it will be swimmable.

  5. depends on what part of brasil you are talking about.

that is about the same as asking if it is warm enough to sunbathe and swim in america in march-april.
