Is it weird for a 15 year old to still play with dolls?

I'm 15 years old and I love playing with barbies and other dolls. Is this weird? Do you still play with dolls?

I still play with dolls and even though my friends don't I like to with my younger siblings and this is definitly not weird. (Even my only younger brother does because nobody plays like lego or cars, but he has a bratz boy baby Harvey) Some people like to do stories, and some like to do hair and make-up. I do both. Have you ever tried to put streaks in your dolls hair with a washable marker? I did it to my blond beach barbie and it took like a week, but afterward her hair looked really cool and you just have to run water on it to get the color out!

I have my dolls own from the 1940's and I love my doll collection of other people who have cast them off. Being 64 I love to rearrange my cabinets and make new things to look at. I guess that is still playing with dolls!!!! Just Have fun

I collate toys from video games like MGS and thing like that. thats ok but if you play them 4 fun that it is a bit weird but some people think that collating toys is weird so if you like it....do it

Honestly I don't think it's weird if that is what you enjoy doing. But I don't think I would have shared this with anyone. Especially the kids at school!

Depends on what you mean by weird.  I'm 40 now and I still played with dolls when I was 15. I grew up to work making 3d characters for video games. It's a good living and allows me to get paid for "playing with dolls." Creative, artistic people never outgrow the need to create characters and stories. Yes, there are probably some people who would consider you "weird." When you're my age and you have plenty of money from the famous TV show you created and can set your own hours, make sure you go outside at 8 am once in a while to laugh at those people, as they drive by gritting their teeth, praying their bosses won't yell at them for being late.

Just make sure you're not using dolls to substitute for things you should be doing and skills you should be gaining in real life. For example, if your dolls are in a band, why not learn to play the guitar yourself instead? If you love to dress them up, learn to design fashions. If your dolls love horses, take a riding lesson or two. As long as you do this, your interest in dolls will help you become more mature, not less.

I started to collect dolls at age 35. I collect Japanese and Korean Ball Jointed dolls. I'm 49, and I know women in their late '60's who do too.

OMG! I LOVE BARBIES! Crazy huh? I almost 16. My brother still plays with nerf guns and he's so childish. But hey it's not all bad. No one can define who you are. So go ahead and play on! It's fine that you do that. You're not alone in the world. It's okay! I'm here!
