Is it weird for a girl to be a huge football fan??

I love the patriots, and I'm not just talking about Tom Brady in fact my favorite players are Randy Moss and Lawrence Maroni and I always thought it was normal for a girl to love football as much as me... my brothers think it is too... but i watch the draft and pre-season games and i have a Randy Moss jersey and I almost never miss a game...

is this weird??

Nope not weird by any means. I am a HUGE football fan as well. My guy friends love it because i do not b!t@h and moan when a game comes on. I have season tickets for a college team and i never miss a Packer game. I have jerseys, autographed footballs and pics..heck i have a whole room dedicated to my football obsession.. I even taped games and bought DVDS so i could get my "fix" during the off season.You sound like you would be a fun person to watch a game with..even if you like the pats :)

No, I've been a football fan for over 40 years...I go into withdrawals after the season is over...I like Wes Welker....He has so much speed...Don't listen to anyone about the Pats cheating on taping as all the teams tape, they just weren't caught...Every sport watches the signals of the other team....That has always gone on...

I was married to a guy who knew nothing about football...Would have broken his arm if he changed the channel...Won lots of money off of his crazy bets...He was on his own on Sundays...Men think they know everything about football and girls don't know a thing....I'll bet any of them....

You go girl :)....and never question why you enjoy any sports....I also love basketball....Sports keep you out of trouble...Playing or watching...

No the world wasn't set up that all guys love football and all girls hate it. If you like football a lot that's not a huge deal at all.

It's absolutely normal. I am a girl too, who is obviously a BIG football fan. With no football season, I almost died... I am so glad that it's back. Don't think that it is weird. It's okay for us to like and play the same sports as guys do.

We have a right to enjoy football as everyone else. So go on cheering for Randy Moss and Lawrence Maroni. I will keep cheering for the Chargers! ^_^
