No, it's not weird.  Lots of boys your age aren't ready for a girlfriend.  Just be yourself, it will come.

well i had my first girlfriend at the age of 16, im turning 17next month and im still with her, so i dont think age matters.

just wait a bit and you'll find the right person for you =D
