Is it weird that I love to watch HGTV

and that I can not wait for my own house so that I can decorate it?Im only going into my senoir year and someone told me that I shouldnt be thinking about that yet...personally i think I should be i want a nice house after I get out of college I thought it was smart to start saving now. Am I planning too far ahead?

I'm 13, and I sometimes watch with my mom because we both love interior designing and we love listening for good ideas.

Not at all.

I get really turned on by all the home improvement shows,hgtv being one.

The downside of the shows is they always depict upscale hoods and climates that are not brutal.

I'm pleased your thinking about your first home,not to early.When considering homes always think ICF/Green.I hate to think what energy costs will be when you get my age.

No,I think that's completely normal.

By the way I am exactly the same..I watch HGTV and even look at the rate my space on they website.

I think its fun and planning things out,

and being somewhat prepared for the future.

At least you think about your future. There is nothing wrong with planning and dreaming. The more you plan the more likely you'll get what you want.
