Her mother-in- law said that she doesn't know who she's going to vote for. "I'm not sure what she brings to the ticket other than she's a woman and a conservative" says Faye Palin.

It's kind of sketchy. her mother-in-law isn't even coming out to support her whole-heartedly.

Also the whole baby thing with her and her daughter is kind of unsettling. Palin's son and grandbaby are gonna be almost the same age. Weird.

  1. Lord have mercy ...I'm almost started to feel bad for McCain, maybe that was his plan?

  2. It would not surprise me at all. Sarah Palin is w***e and so does her daughter.

  3. Nothing weird about it. People make up their own minds.

  4. Interesting.  Who knows whether they have a good relationship or not though?

  5. Just shows they want to make an informed decision.

  6. If its in the NY Daily News, it must be true.

  7. I don't see anything weird about this. Sounds like a natural family. Most families are stuborn and half can't agree.

The baby decision is fine, as long as the parents are both happy.

  8. I wouldn't vote for my mother in law if she was running, just because I don't like her.  And I'm assuming my mother in law wouldn't vote for me.  We don't know the entire story.

  9. Is it weird?  Not really.  It tells me that her m-i-l may not share the same political concerns.  I know plenty of conservatives who don't want to vote for McCain and haven't decided yet if they will vote at all.  Doesn't bother me in the least that Faye Palin wants to step back and assess all the candidates.

Don't forget that Faye has more at stake here than just a political opinion or a vote.  This is the mother of her grandchildren, the wife of her son.  You know Faye probably wonders whether or not being vice president is the best thing for her son and grandchildren and the great-grandchild that's due in a few months.  Would you want her to vote for McCain/Palin even if she felt that their win might cause irreparable harm to her son's family?

There are a lot of people on all sides of the aisle trying to decide for themselves what Governor Palin brings to the ticket and whether their vote should go to McCain or not.  I think it's fair that even family members of the candidates have their doubts, voice their doubts, and vote their conscience.

  10. Every one has their choice to vote for who they want. My choice still is for McCain and Palin. So go forth and have fun spreading the news.

  11. NO - at least one of them has common sense!

  12. Yes and no.

Yes because you'd expect her family to support her.

No because a person should vote for whom they think is best.

I have to give Faye Palin credit for voicing the concerns that so many millions of US Citizens share.

  13. No it is not weird at all.. My in laws have different political views than I do.. This is still a free country and we do not have to vote with the family..... Heck I know some married couples that dont share the same views.........
