Is it weird to ask for this at a salon?

I want to get just bangs.

I don't want a haircut or anything. And I don't want to get my hair straightened, curled or even washed or anything.

is it possible to ask for that?

They might want to wash the section of the hair (in this case, the bangs) that they'll be cutting, but it's okay to say no.

You can go into the hairdressers and ask if any of the stylists have 5 minutes spare to cut your bangs for you. I see people do this all the time. If you're a regular customer they might do this for free, if not it'll probably cost you around $5.

It's not weird at all. My hair stylist told me once that at most places you just walk into the salon and they'll do it no problem. And a lot of places only charge you a few dollars to do it.

It's funny, because when I was in 4th grade i did that and the people thought I was kinda weird, but they did it, and yes it is possible, just make sure the salon is a nice, and patient one.
