My sister thinks i am crazy because tea is for "old people."

Haha.

Is it weird to be drinking so much tea at my age? And can it yellow your teeth because that is what i have heard..

Thanks guys! Just another one of my random&stupid questions:D

  1. green tea is stupendous. Drink up. And no, I drink it as well and I am 21 years old. It is not for old people only ;-)

  2. 1 to 2 teas a day is very normal. Your age does not matter.

Your sister does not know what she is talking about. Tea is not for old people. Ice tea is tea too and I have ALWAYS known people of ALL ages to drink this ALL of my life.

Green and white tea will have less of a yellowing affect on your teeth than soda, coffee or darker teas will. However as long as you bursh your teeth regularly even that is a bunch of hog wash.

  3. Good stuff - Tea is the drink of champions.

    I had to cut down a bit, I was having about 12 - 15 cups a day!

Now I probably have about 6  or 7 and won't do a thing at work until I've had my first cuppa at about 8:00am.

About four years ago I stopped taking milk in it and unfortunately enjoy it more than ever before, you can taste the subtle difference between blends and even tell if the water is filtered or not. I decided that I don't smoke so it's not likely to be any more harmful than that.

It's people like you that make sure these things carry on through the ages and its your mission to make sure your sister has at least the same number of cups a day as you !

  4. noo it snot unheakthy at all. just dont drink it more than 1 or twice a day because tea makes you urinate and if you drinkit tomuch yiou can get infection or bladder problemm

  5. well its not weird in England. and that's not many cups really. everyone has a favorite drink. i think it can damage your teeth just like all food and drink.

  6. no. 1-2 cups a day is not uncommon or crazy.

  7. I know everyone before me said that it is ok! But... I am going to disagree with them! This is because the chemicals they put in tea and in coffee the reason that it stains your teeth is because they add an ingredient that is used to tan animal hides if teas and coffees. It is not good for you. There are good kinds of teas out there though just look at the ingredients and if they arent all natural I wouldnt go for it. Things like all peppermint are fine. :)

  8. No your fine...green tea is good for your body. And yes it does stain your teeth but make sure you brush your teeth with a whiting agent. Hope this helps!

  9. what.. ?

it's healthier than soda.. it relaxes u, plus u like it

so what if ur sis thinks is for old people, in england even babies drink tea at least once a day

  10. that's fine. if you love it then go.

but i suggest you try coke. i drink coke for at least 4 times a day. lol. ^_^

  11. green tea is good for you and full of antioxidents. As long as you brush your teeth at least twicw a day you should be fine.

  12. I think tea is the new coffee, if you know what I mean.  It's not just for old people at all!  I drink about a quart of my iced tea blend every single day.  It's so much better for you than soda, and a good way to get water for the day.  So many people I know love their iced tea, and we're not old!  (OK, maybe old to your sister, we're in our 30's.)  :)
