PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME THAT IT CAUSES SKIN CANCER OR I'LL BE WRINKLY WHEN I'M 20. I am not retarded. I know everything about tanning beds and I'd use it in moderation.

PROBLEM! I'm 13 but I'll be 14 in less than a month. I'll also be a freshman in high school. So I am extremely pale. All my friends at school tell me I need a tan. I don't really care about what they tell me because I wanted to go to tanning beds before they told me.

Thing is, I'm super shy and I don't know if it'd be weird for me to start tanning. Like basically everyone I know would probably comment on me being so tan all of the sudden, right?

Also, my older sister who is 18 has been tanning for more than 2 years. I don't really talk to my sister. We have an awkward relationship. So I'd have trouble asking my mom because she might think I'm weird.

Also, my closest friend is part black so she naturally has dark skin..So when we saw my sister once, she was like "oo she's so tan!" and then I was like yeah she

tanning salons are highly addictive!! i would recommend spray tanning...but if u really wanna go for sunbeds then, no its not weird at all

buy taning oil and lay out in the sun for a couple of hours and it wont make it look like u are all of a sudden tan. tanning at r age is horrble pple at my skool would be called a s**t or w***e for doing that.

Please be careful w/ tanning beds! The rays are SO bad for your skin and can cause cancer and premature aging (wrinkles, age spots, etc.).

Try some of the gradual sunless tanners - they look so natural and you can control the darkness level!!!

Tanning using a tanning booth can cause damage to your skin if used excessively..

Using good spray tan can also give you a nice tan.
