Is it weird to have a cat that doesn't leave anyone alone?

My cat is always rubbing up against our chairs and legs and he is always meowing.he wants attention 24/7 i have had a lot of cats and none have acted like this is it normal?

Its a personality trait. Those of us with that type of cat call them "little lovers". You are very lucky to have found one. They are the biggest sweethearts in the world and you will learn to crave the attention that they give. One of mine is 17 and the other is almost 1 year old. Love your baby until it leaves.

I want that cat! I recently had to put my beloved Inky to sleep. He was my "loverboy".  I have other cats that are friendly enough, but to be sooo lucky to have a kitty like that...He's fine! Enjoy him!!!

If you adopted him, and don't know his background, it indicates he received not only good training from his mother, he got good socialization from the human contact he had while tiny.
