  1. I think it's weird that you're asking.

  2. Do you mean kitty litter?  As in, you just got a kitten and are supposed to keep it away from the adult kitty litter?  If that is the case, then yes, my parent's vet advised them to keep their new kitten out of their adult cat's litter because it's the clumping kind.  He said they can't use that until they are a bit older. I hope that's what you were asking...I was a little confused.

  3. That's fine.  Just be sure to have the Mom and the kit neutered.  There are too many kittens and too few homes.

  4. Um, why would that be abnormal?

  5. As long as you mean keep one after the mother has weaned them and not keep one to "raise" on your own.

It's normal for mother and children to live together.  They usually get along fine, but if you keep a male kitten beware, it WILL try to mate.

  6. totally!! as long as you have it spayed/neutered so it does not mate with the mum or dad depending on the s*x you keep!

breeders who breed for quality and shows noramlly only breed a litter when they want to keep one to create and start and improve their own lines!

so yes it is normal good luck :)
