Is it weird to play with American Girl Dolls when im 14?

Im 14 years old. I havent played with my american girl dolls in about a year, but recently ive been bored because it seems like all teenagers do is go on the computer and talk to friends. I have a whole month of summer left and my felicity and nellie dolls are looking pretty fun right about now. is it odd that im going to start playing with them again, and i was thinking if im really enjoying it about getting another doll or more accessories. is that weird? i want to play with them but i dont want to feel like a little girl.

As long as you have an interest in something, don't let people tell you that you shouldn't.  American Girl Dolls and books are great because you learn about the time period that each girl represents.  Have fun!!

im 14 too and i don't think it's weird at all... and ususally toward the end of summer the little girl comes out in all of us... and now that i think of it i kinda want to get my american Girl dolls out right now too... but before you buy accessories and stuff think about how long you will be playing with them again... just in case =) and don't worry what people think... it's always fun to be like a little kid again...and if you don't want to feel like a little girl just do different things with them that arn't do little kiddish! have fun and don't worry!!!!!! =)

It's not weird. im 13 and i still get american girl magazine, play with my dolls and look through the catalog for clothes. and actually, i have alot of friends who have american girl dolls. we even went to see the movie together. dont sweat it. were still kids and i really dont think age matters. besides, technicly (<i no its spelled wrong) ur not allowed to play with them until ur 8... so they really expect u to only play with them until ur like 11, thats only 3 years. well thats all i got, hope i helped.

I'm 13 and I have an american girl doll!

I play with her much less now but since it is summer I really look at the magazines more. Almost all of my friends have american girl dolls and we all still play with them!

psh please girl.  don't sweat the small stuff!!  you're still young!!  i'm 22 right now and i don't have any toys.  but hey i'd kill for some polly pockets and transformers man!!  i don't think it's weird at all for teens to play with toys~  go buy some more accessories and stuff!!  toys are funnnnnnnn  ^^
