Is it weird to see a 16 year old girl out alone???

Like at the mall, drugstore, or whereever?? I got my license like a week ago and i went out for the first time alone yesterday to the drugstore and i was nervous and felt vulnerable and there were some older guys who did this weird thing to me to get my attention but i ignored them. so is it weird/????

it's not weird, but there are some animals out there who think they're superhuman/God's gift to women.  pls be careful what you let in your car.  be skeptical and be prepared to leave if you feel unsafe etc.  you are now of special interest to those whom might be more base, as well as those whom are more honest.  be prepared to say no and mean it.  keep 911 on your speed dial if you like.  Sometimes my fellows make me ashamed of my gender.

No... it is normal to see a young girl out by herself. You just need to be sure of yourself, and those type of boys will leave you alone. I was 19 when i got my licence and i felt the same way... I think it is just because you aren't used to being by yourself... NOT SURE... it gets better

No, its not weird, just be safe.  If someone is making you uncomfortable, just get to a place where you do feel comfortable.  And yes, that first answer was right, some boys will do very stupid things to get a girl to pay attention to them, but its up to you what you feel comfortable with, not them.

no don't sweat it, they were probably being men and checking you out!!! There is girls all the time that go into the world, you're growing up, it's just a little intimidating going out your first few times alone, but pretty soon, you'll be anticipating it, just becareful!!!
