Is it weird to shower with your dog?

Question

Its NOT me, it's one of my friends, and I think the dog is a chihuahua, or something like that. The way she explained it to me the dog sits at the end of the shower while she showers herself, then she soaps up the dog, and rinses it off.

I think its kind of weird. Being in the same space as your dog...naked.

i think that it is *&^%&*^ weird and that people should be put away for that

Honestly, if i wasn't a dog owner now i would have said yes.
Now with that being said, i do it.
It was a convenience one day, i was in the shower and i could hear the dog in the bathroom. I knew he was due for a bath but then realized: i'm getting all clean and in an hour i'm going to give him his bath and smell like wet dog which is defeating the purpose of my shower. So i called him over and brought him in.
I used his specific shampoo and i don't think he was ever happier.
It saves so much time as someone has mentioned above, 2 birds one stone and done.

I might not be able to do it much longer, he's a boxer/pitbull mix and still a puppy.
It's not wierd because it's nothing more than a shower.
