You know, to practice speech and facial expressions and all that, and even record yourself. I never really did it, but am terrible at talking and expressing words (even though I word things out really nicely in my own head). Is this a normal thing to do?

  1. oh i talk to myself all the time, even argue with myself, of course i always win the argument.

  2. I took a course in Public Speaking last year and the teacher used to tell us to practice in front of a mirror or in front of family/friends.  If the teacher is telling us to do it, then it must be normal.

I talk to my own reflection, it helps me remember what I need to do that day. (ie talking aloud to remember)

  3. Hold on I'll ask my reflection...

  4. It's only a bit weird if the mirror talks back, has a conversation with ya.  Otherwise its probably a great way of practising your punctuation and speech

  5. No, it is not that weird. Its one way of checking yourself or rather your ideas, or thoughts.

  6. It's normal. It's definitely a good way to practice and become familiar with the material.

  7. See all the presenters on the news.

    See them?

    They do it all times.

  8. I talk to myself all time...and talk to mirror when I am fall in love for a girl and she doesn't or doesn't like me.

  9. i think that professional speakers do it all the time, actually, so no i don't think it's weird at all but a perfectly reasonable way to improve yourself in that area if it's something important to you.

  10. Actors do it all the time, just as dancers watch themselves in a mirror while they are practising. It helps them to see what mistakes they are making.

  11. I do it all the time, it really is not that bad, but in public it might be a little strange to some people. But no, as long as in private.
