in regular conversation? because I realized I do it a lot. Like in a convo:

Dude! That's like throwing a change-up when the counts 0-0! etc.

  1. No, but it's evil.  Satan loves baseball and it's his way of insinuating Himself into your daily life.  You really ought to repent before it's too late.

  2. That sounds like that show "My Boys"

  3. yes

  4. If I knew a girl who did that I'd fall in love. That's awesome!

    I do it too

When someone does something stupid I say

"It's like having Pat Burrell steal a base"

  5. It's part of the lexicon. It's been used as American slang since the 1800's, be proud.

  6. You really touched home base with that one! I've been wondering the same thing. Sometimes I unknowingly use them. My friends look at me strangely, they don't know too much baseball.

Did Doctor B say anything reportable? Or is his answer just remarkably stupid? I'd like to know if I can hit the report button.

  7. I do it. I don't think anyone noticed it though or they look at me all confused and I get quiet.
