Is it weird when someone asks for your home address instead of your number?

Say that you were working somewhere for about 7 months. During that time, you and another co-worker became pretty close. Touching, staring, complimenting, gave me her cell number. Anyway, on the last day, (when you quit), she doesn't ask for your number, But for your actual home address. She was kind of staring at me and she goes "Give me your address" and then real quick she adds "So I can send ya christmas card, hehe". Almost as if she was covering something up. Is that weird? I knew her a few years before I worked with her. But we started getting pretty close when we worked together. She would give me things that said "you are wonderful" on them, and sometimes she would tell me she missed me. Is it weird that instead of asking for my number, she asked for my home address? Thanks!

I'm not going to start or have an affair. I don't believe in cheating. Plus, she hasn't even tried to contact me. I was just wondering if it seemed unusual.

  1. hopefully you've just read into things too much and she really will just send you a christmas card. if she was to start an affair i'm sure she wouldn't just turn up at your house - and if she was a crazy stalker i'm sure she'd already have those details... but then again she could just be checking her information is accurate..

i add to your mounting suspicions - ask for her's in return. just to be sure.
