Is it weird when someone wants your home address instead of a number?

I worked with this one woman for about 7 months, during that time we became kind of close. She would always compliment me, touch me, stare at me sometimes, and tell me she missed me and stuff. One time she even gave me this little sticker that said "You are wonderful", for no reason. Anyway, she gave me her cell number during the year. And on the day I quit, she said "Give me your number...So I can send ya christmas card, hehe". She said the last part really fast too, like she was covering something up. I'm just wondering, is that weird? Do people usually ask for your home address instead of your number? I knew her for a little bit before I actually started working with her. She's also married and has 2 grown children. She's also much older than me. Sometimes I would get these "vibes" from her, But I don't know. She hasn't tried to contact me, that's what's really confusing. I was just wondering what you all thought. Thanks!

Whoa, yes.  I would not give her either your number or your address. Personally, I wouldn't want her to know where I live.  But since she hasn't contacted you, I guess you are in the clear.  Be careful about giving people your home address, what if her husband finds it and comes to your house all angry? OMG!

It sounds to me as if she wants to do more with then just to get to know you, you have something she likes and she 's trying to get it from you get my drift she wants some you know what and hoping you might give in if you're a L*****n anyway but that's what it sounds like to me she is.

Yes, that is a bit odd. Especially given the fact that the last part of the sentence sounds like it was rushed in as an afterthought, so as to keep her from seeming strange. I'd be cautious.

I think she has a crush on you but is trying to hard to cover it up making little wholes in her plan. It is kinda freaky and I suggest you dont give her your address, you dont want anything weird to happen like her coming over uninvited. You can stay friends with her but tell her its kinda freaky and makes you feel uncomfortable, maybe she will notice her mistake and she might say something unexpected like a cover up "Its not like I like you in any way." <---this would be a lie.

I dont think she is trying to hurt you its just she is trying to get close to you in an uncomfortable way.

If she's tried to go over or has mentioned something about your home that you have never talked about with her then you might have a stalker in your hands. haha

I wouldn't say it's weird if she just wants to send you a Christmas card...but if your that worried about it then just tell her you don't feel like ya'll know each other that well.

You may be looking more into this than there really is.  When I quit my last job lots of people wanted my address and I sort of did the same. I actually DO send Christmas cards...and other cards when I get some time.  Phone calls can be personal, cards not so much.
