yeah what melissa said...i've done it many times, its only awkward if you make it awkward.

i think you have to be at least 16 yrs old.

& it's not awkward to get an application.

i mean everyone does that.

just go and pick it up yourself so you'll get to

know some of the people who work there.

i recommend you to talk to the people

that work there just to ask questions and etc.

i always do that when i go pick up an application

plus they get to know you and they could tell their manager

you should get this girl or whatever =)

trust me it works!

you have to be very friendly. oh i almost forgot

don't talk to them when it's a rush hour as in when they

Well it's normal to just go into a place and ask for an application. and most places hire people who are 16 the youngest. and even Starbuck's. So get an applicationa dn go fro it.

Melissa is absolutely right.  You might be able to get an application online for some places.

It isn't weird at all to ask for an application.  Do not go into the store dressed inappropriately or acting inappropriately.  Picking up the application is your very first impression, so make a good one!
