Is it wierd for a freshman to never have had a boyfriend?

I'm a freshman in high school, and I think that I'm not going to get a boyfriend this year, Ive never had one... I dont know.... I just dont think I'm a very date-worthy girl.

sorta just the girl who's silly, and good in school, not someone who guys hang out with. Even as friends.

Is that wierd? I dont think I'll ever date (I want to) would that be wierd too?

No it's not weird at all. A lot of my friends who are outgoing and all (and hang with guy friends too) don't have boyfriends. It just takes time. But once you find a guy that you want to date, don't let your past affect how you handle it. Good luck!

No its not weird. The girl Im dating now hadnt had a boy friend til she was a Jr in HS and im her second boyfriend and whe have been together since senior year.

High school is weird enough for most people just coming into it without wondering about the whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing.

In time, your feelings about a lot of things will change and grow. Give them time. Give yourself time.

You very likely will start dating during your high school years. It won't seem nearly as weird then.

No its not weird. I didn't have a boyfriend till my sophomore year and I'm a senior in high school now and I have only had 3 boyfriends. You'll find one when you least expect it and it doesn't matter that you've never had one. Little tip thought when you do get a boyfriend follow you heart in how fast or slow you want it to go and tell him that he is your first boyfriend and if hes right for you he will understand.

that's nothing! i didn't get a boyfriend till my freshman year of college! and it's not that i didn't want one, it's just that i found that waiting for them to come to me worked better than crushing on someone all the time. you sound like a really cool person, and if you're patient, the right guy will take notice of that and walk right into your life.

It's definitely not weird. Lots of freshmen don't have a gf/bf. Actually that's a good thing. A lot of kids at my school weren't even allowed to date until they were 16, so gf/bf was sort of pointless up until that point. Just have fun.  There will plenty of time for relationships later.

Your smart for staying single ! Look how many people write in asking for advice in their relationships. Their young, dumb and don't know how to have a relationship in the first place. Give yourself time and when the time is right for you, you'll know it's right. Your very smart for staying out of relationships at your age.   No you stand a good chance for getting a boy friend. IF not now you will later on. But in high school there are so many different groups there is bound to be someone looking for you. If your shy it could be a slight problem as guys are afraid of rejection so make sure the person your interested in knows it.
