dreads or an afro, or corn rows? Everyone thinks I'm crazy because this white girl takes an interest in traditionally black hair styles. I just think they are cool looking.

I see white people with dreads all the time here, but not so much an afro or corn rows. I think you should do whatever you want.

i have thick curly hair. not coarse and kinky like a black person's hair, but definitely curly. i afro'd it up and it looks wicked. it doesn't look like i'm trying to pretend to be black, either. ;P

as for dreads... hahaha, i'm not a fan because it ruins the hair... but dude, ever look at hippies? some cybergoth subcultures are totally into that shizz too. i think dreads, if well made and taken care of, can really rock out.

so follow your own style, start your own trend. you're not trying to "be" somebody, you're doing it because they're cool looking.

wow havent heard this one before. why do you want to be black.. try asking if thats weird. besides your hair is to straight for dreads,afros and braids you will look a hot mess. they might be cool looking but there not for you. d**n can black people have anything to themselves? stick to watching BET and pretending.

its not weird its differnt.

but most white people i see with dreads their dreads are kinda dirty

so i say get dreads but keep them realllllly clean
