Is it wierd if ur 18 && even though u can manage on ur own, hate seeing ur mom leave, it hurts.?

no it is not weird.  keep in touch with your mom as often as possible.

i don't think it is weird

i just think that they wouldn't quite be ready to be on their own yet.. or they haven't accepted that they are fully independent now

It doesn't matter what age you are! If your mom leaves, it is always going to hurt and be a sad thing in your life but you cannot let it get you down. You need to know this is her choice and nothing you can do about it. Try to be there for her as much as you can and see if this helps but she is a grown woman and will do what she wants. Good luck!
