not at all. i think it adds character. it impresses people too. any form of cultural dance causes people to want to get to know you more.

i used to learn traditional chinese dance and everyone who heard that i did it was impressed. and it looks cool (sets you apart) on a resume.

if you have a passion for it then you shouldn't care if other people from this website that you have never met before think its weird. but me personally i think Irish dancing is pretty cool. it takes a lot to dance like that...

no way! one of my bff's is an amazing irish dancer! it's something that will impress people because most people can't do it!

THATS SOOOOOO COOL! I wish I could do that... I'm classicly trained... (has its ups and downs)... your really lucky and if anyone says something like thats weird ignore them... they're jeluse... =D

Irish dancing is unique, and I think it makes you your own person, and not some brain washed kid that grinds.

Keep it up. or don't. It's your body.

nah, I have quite a few friends that do Irish. I also go to a lot of their competitions and I love looking at all of their dresses :)
