Is it wise to bet on Pacquiao to beat Diaz????

if i placed 50 dollars on Manny, i would make 11 dollars, hardly worth it when there seems to be doubt.

As a gambler myself, i say go for it but than again, i gamble alot. But since i've already placed my bet on Bodog, i really cant tell you who to bet for but i placed a small $50.00 bet for Manny Pacquiao to win.

Personally, I wouldn't place a bet on either fighter. This is Pacquiao's first fight at lightweight, so we've yet to see how well he handles the division. I think Pacquiao cold get by Diaz, but his first time experience at this weight just makes it too uncertain to place a sure bet on.

I agree with Woody although i believe Pacquiao will still beat up Diaz. Pacquiao shouldn't have a problem adding the weight. The only thing Diaz has done in his career is barley beat Morales who Manny already destroyed twice.

Manny and Barrera to a lesser extent had already ended the career of Morales, Diaz just picked the bones clean.

Diaz has the reach on Pacquiao but It shouldn't matter.

The reason i wouldn't place a big bet on the fight is the fact that they are both southpaws and a clash of heads and a fight stopping cut is very likely. Im not sure where your betting, but i dont think you'd get your money back on a no contest. Plus it could go the scorecards after 4 rounds and its possible the fight could be close in the early going.

But if there is no headbutt cuts then I would feel confident in taking Manny to win by knockout.

I wouldn't do it the stage is set for an upset. Pacquiao being the favorite coming up in weight and facing a guy that is the title holder nobody gives a chance.

David Diaz has a lot of heart i know because I live in Chicago.  Sam Corloina works David's Connor and I used to train with his assistant at the same gym as Diaz. I have seen David train and the guy is a game fighter.

Its people in Chicago that don't even believe in Diaz some guys from my Gym are ordering the fight and having a party and nobody is rooting for Daiz. The crazy thing is he knows that's how people feel and that isn't going to do anything but motivate him.

Depends how much money if were talking about a few thousand then I would bet on Pac-man to win in a split decision, but if its over 10 grand I would not bet on this fight. Its to evenly matched. Your call.
