Is it wise to sing disney songs at a disney audition?

I am thinking it would not work to someone's advantage since you might be compared to their existing performers.... what do you guys think of what i'm thinking?

no it wouldn't be wise. they don't even allow you to perform their songs in their parks if your a traveling group and you're performing there.

Your goal is to impress with your performance. Therefore sing whatever you are most comfortable with and if this happens to be a Disney song , so be it.

You also must keep in mind that disney songs have a pretty specific style which they all follow. So if there is one that makes you stand out, then that is the one to take, otherwise, look for 'your song' or something close to it. Make sure you know your genre well too.

Disney corporate actually says, don't bring a song you think they will like, bring one that you are comfortable with and which shows off your voice and your talent in the best way.

Choose a song that really fits you, if you think a disney song would bring your voice out really well, than i guess you should sing a disney song. But if I were you try out a variety of songs and choose the song that you think would blow the judges away. Also ask the advice of your friends and ask them which song fits you the best. Also dont try to copy the singer of the song, make your own version so that you wont be compared. But dont change the song too much. Good luck w/ your audition
