Is it worse to buy drinks in glass bottles or plastic bottles?

I've recently become "addicted" (I LOVE) Purdey's Multivitamin Fruit Drink. However, it really concerns me that I'm drinking out of thee heavy brown glass bottles each time. I relly do try to be environmentally friendly. Should I not drink Purdey's?

Glass can be recycled an indefinite number of times, whereas plastic can only be recycled a limited number of times.  

Plus, there is some concern that chemicals may leach from plastic into the food or drink it contains.  And presumably, when their life of recycling is over, plastic will leach more chemicals into the earth when it eventually winds up in the landfill.

So glass is actually better for you and better for the environment.  Enjoy your drink without guilt!

glass bottles are waaaay better. they cant even really recycle the plastic bottles (even though they say they do). im taking a class on recycling...at least you can reuse you glass bottle and wash it in hot water and not worry about chemicals leaking into your drink :) so glass is all around better
