  1. Hauling them where?  You sure ask a lot of questions on car hauling.  You might get more help if you ask one, explain it a bit more, and wait for an answer.  Just a suggestion.

  2. Along with every other business out there, the high cost of fuel is passed on to the consumer.  We will all be paying much more for our groceries, clothes, and everything else we purchase at a store because the trucking companines have to charge more money to offset their fuel expenses.  The car haulers I use all charge a fuel surcharge now.  I have a friend about to go into this business and expect him to do quite well.  You just have to know what is an appropriate, competetive rate that will make your business profitable.  If you can't figure that out, spend a few dollars on a consultant who can, or you won't make it.

    Good luck

  3. It depends on the situation.

If you are TNT and you own 500 rigs with 500 trailers that hold 6 cars each, and for each car you get $1000 id say its worth it.

If you are Joe Bloggs who owns a Chev Suburban and a car trailer and you want to haul cars from point a to point b, then id say no.

Busnesses mostly run on fuel accounts and most of the expenses the business have are tax deductable.

If you run the business right, you can make money. The tip is not to ever have a empty trailer. If you go to a place, try and get a car for the way back, or if you have an empty trailer, pick up another load of something to make money on the trip back.

  4. It depends on your personal situation. If you are making enough money to pay the bills after you take out the cost of fuel, then,  yes, but if you are going into debt because of it, I would say no.
