I have bought a lot of things successfully from Ebay, and have gotten very good deals.  The main thing is to pay attention to the positive "Feedback" on the vendor, and how satisfied buyers are.  Also, decide upfront what the most you want to bid (including shipping) and never exceed that amount.  If the positive "Feedback number is low (below 98-99%) I don't do business with them.  Also, look at the comments that other buyers have posted about them.  Lastly, if they are a new vendor with few transactions, you should be exceedingly cautious.  But in general, Ebay can be a great place to shop.

Almost impossible. Unless you got extremely good price like 50% of price you wanted to pay.

Ebay asks you for extra fees and that does not include shipping.

Depends on what you are buying and from whom. I would suggest doing some research on the seller check they're feedback etc. Do some comparison shopping as well . Dont just go for the first one you see.
